Hello, my name is Lizzie...
One of my passions in life is the simple, life-enhancing beauty of flowers. I love growing them and sharing their abundance with other people.
I am a small, independent business based in Sheffield S11.
All the flowers I sell are locally-grown, either by me, in my garden, or harvested from other local patches of land.
They are freshly cut and conditioned to fulfil each individual order.
Many of my flowers are those that can't often be found in shops and supermarkets. They include unusual varieties or scented 'cottage garden' favourites, such as sweet peas and sprigs of herbs.
My horticultural training includes the Royal Horticultural Society's 'Diploma in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture' (Level 2).
I am a member of 'Flowers from the Farm', a UK network of growers of seasonal, sustainable British cut flowers.
Currently, around 90% of flowers available to buy in the UK are imported, so, if you don't choose to buy from me, please consider buying from others who are part of the movement to promote the beauty and variety of British-grown stems.
Thank you for supporting local flower growers.
